THOMAS CUP 300 yrd Competition

This competition will be shot using one of the club parker-hale 1200 rifles with club issued 7.62x51 ammo. The shooter has the option of using a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 3 sighting shots, visibly marked, none scoring. The number of sighting shots will count from the first bullet on the board.

The target face will be covered in plain white paper with an aiming mark in the center.

Then 10 shots are to be taken and measured in mm for group size to the external extremities. The diameter of the caliber  shot .30" will then be deducted, giving a final group size. Any of the 10 scoring shots failing to hit the scoring target will render the competition void.
